In April 2021, our SAP consultant Ludwig Widmaier celebrates his 5th anniversary as an employee. Congratulations! We thank him very much for his loyalty and tireless commitment!
To honour this occasion, Ludwig was given a present in our offices. We also take this opportunity to take a look at how Ludwig found his way into the company and what is part of his daily work at Prestele IT.
Starting as a freelancer in 2015, Ludwig became a permanent part of the Prestele team (back then PP-iT) in April 2016 thanks to a fortunate coincidence. At that time, the company consisted of three people! In the meantime, the number of employees has risen to 30. Ludwig has thus been able to follow the rapid development of the company: From the annual increase in employees to the change of the company name last year.
Initially, Ludwig worked in IT infrastructure and then found his first point of contact with SAP. He saw this as an opportunity for his professional development and trained as an SAP consultant. He taught himself a lot of things autodidactically, whereby he could benefit from his original training as an IT officer. His previous accounting knowledge and his affinity for financial topics still facilitate the implementation of customer projects in SAP Business One.
Today, as an SAP Consultant, Ludwig takes care of the implementation of SAP Business One and add-ons for our customers. This includes a wide range of tasks: consulting, workshops, setup, training and support fill Ludwig’s working day at Prestele IT.
What does he enjoy most about his work? “Solving complex problems. I analyze the requirements of our customers, which are always very different. Then I elaborate on suitable concepts for the implementation in SAP Business One. That is challenging and what I enjoy most!”, says Ludwig. He looks back with particular pride on the completion of his first major SAP customer project at the end of last year, which was successfully mastered under his leadership.
